This lovely lady is the newly crowned Miss New York, Elisabeth Baldanza. The 23-year-old Mercyhurst College student is an aspiring motivational speaker who performed a dance routine to a song from Ragtime during the talent competition. Also, she's from Oneonta.
Wait, what?!Yup, that's right, folks - the town Just Left of Nowhere produced New York's entry to the Miss America field. And since I'm a townie and have townie friends, I have an inside source (read: bus buddy) who revealed the following about Ms. Baldanza's childhood:
- She was a brown-nosing workaholic who never did anything besides schoolwork and dance (ballet).
- She was hot even then. "Oh yeah," said my source, giving a reverse head nod to indicate that there was no questioning this.

seriously? her? that first picture is not flattering AT ALL. There are about 2 million models in New York City, yet some girl from a tiny little upstate crap town wins who is not even hot. (asian biases aside)
No wonder why we can never beat those southern broads in Miss America if this is what the Empire State is producing. I boo this choice good sir.
There are like four pictures of this broad on the InterWeb, and the two I didn't use include one of her breaking down sobbing (never good for the hotness) and one from so far away you might possibly be able to tell she has a face. In theory, she's much hotter than that first pic. I'm going on faith. NY REPRESENT.
I think I would have preferred the so far away photograph. At least it would have been easier to imagine she was good looking. Good from far, far from good.

The fist comment on her is a load of crap. I have known Elisabeth since my birth, she was the first person other than my parents to hold me, and she is sweet, beautiful, and came from a NICE town. I thought you all should know.Thankyou.
